Hi, I’m Carla.

I am a BFA Design student at the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Design and Creative Technologies, exploring the human condition through meaningful research and impactful interaction design. My work brings design research and anthropology to life through immersive experiences and community building. Some teams I’ve worked on include IBM’s Blue Studio, The Texas Tribune, The Daily Texan, Texas Performing Arts, Festival Beach Food Forest, Longhorn Developers, and the McCombs School of Business.

My personal projects center around inquiries into placemaking, marrying the magic to the mundane, and storytelling.
